Mark graduated Leeds University in 1990 after which he spent 4 years working at Central Television. In 1994 he joined SVC Television, a leading London post-production company to run one of their motion control departments.
Having developed a loyal client base, and armed with extensive lighting skills and techniques during these years, Mark went freelance as a Director of Photography in 2005.
Since then he has shot commercials and visuals for all of the top agencies and production companies in the UK. Film or digital, his talent and post-production background is priceless.
Having grown up using film and he still loves the depth and quality and precision of that medium but more recently has been shooting on a variety of digital formats from Phantom Flex through to Arri and EPIC - dependent on client delivery needs.
I like to push myself and keep myself adaptable. The devil is always in the detail!
